Homam – Part 28

January 21st 2024 is Ravivara, Vikram Samvat – 2080; Anala, Shaka Samvat – 1945; Shobhana , Tithi : Sukla Paksha Ekadashi , Nakshatra: Rohini , Yog: Sukla , Karana: Vishti
This month’s homam was originally postponed by a week to avoid conflicts with Mandala Masa conclusion and Ayyappa poojas across the world. Little did we know that it is going to coincide with the historic Pran Pratishtha at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi at Ayodhya. We will support and celebrate the Pran Prathistha.
Homam will start from 9:30 AM CST. Schedule will be Guruvandana followed by Ganapathy Homam, Srirama Homam, Hanuman Homam, Sudarshana Homam, Vishnu Sahasranama Japam and Lalitha Sahasranama Homam, expected to end by noon.
Once the homam is over Ram diya will be lit from the Homa Kunda and will be maintained through the night along with continuous chanting and Bhajans until the Prana Prathishta starts at Ayodhya.
