It is said that if one is not able to read the entire Ramayana\, just reading Sunderkand is the shorter solution\, to accomplish whatever one needs in life. \nWe are privileged to get this years religious activities onsite started with the blessings of Swami Ramanand Saraswathy\, commonly known as Dr. Saab. \nDr. Saab\, an ardent devotee of Hanumanji\, has dedicated his life to the worship of Lord Ram and to spread the message of Bhakti. In spite of his busy schedules and invovled work life\, Dr. Saab dedicated every weekend in the last three decades for Akhand Ramayan Path – reading Tulasidas Ramayan called Ramacharit Manas\, non stop in 24 hours and also chanting Sunderkand from the same text. A resident of Washington DC\, Dr. Saab will be flying down to Houston to bless our Ashram and kick off this years functions. Please watch the Face book page for live updates and more information on this historic yatra. \nAs a tribute and support to this present day Ashwamedha yagya\, and to ensure smooth and successful completion of the yatra\, we will be conducting a Chandika Homam on Sunday\, October 9th. This will be conducted under the auspices of Sree Manimalarkavilamma\, little known but very power saint and an ardent devotee of Poojya gurudev Jagathguru Swami Sathyananda Saraswathy Thiruvadikal\, who has been the guiding light of all the homam’s so far. Amma is based out of her humble abode at Thalassery. \nIt our responsibility as a community to support such a noble effort by our saints.
